High School Football

St. Cloud Tech lost 21-0 at home Friday night to Cambridge-Isanti. The Tigers trailed 15-0 after the 1st quarter and were down 21-0 at halftime. Tech's best opportunity to score came in the 4th quarter with less than 3 minutes remaining but they were unable to convert inside the Cambridge 10 yard line.

Many high school football teams will be playing their 4th game of the season tonight and that includes Apollo playing at the new Blattner Stadium in Cold Spring against Rocori. This is the first varsity football game at this new multi-use stadium.

Sauk Rapids-Rice improved to 2-0 with a 42-21 rout at home against Tech Friday night. The Storm led 22-0 after the 1st quarter and 36-0 at halftime. Tech drops to 0-3.

Week 3 of the high school football season will take place tonight throughout Central Minnesota. Rocori will play at Sartell-St. Stephen at 7 p.m. with coverage starting at 6:40 on AM 1390/93.9 FM Granite City Sports. Dave Overlund will call the action. Both teams are 1-1 entering tonight's action.
