A nonprofit health care provider based in the Twin Cities area says it's cutting back on sugary drinks at its hospitals and clinics. Bloomington-based HealthPartners said Monday that it would take out at least 80 percent of all sugary drinks in its network next year.
HealthPartners and Park Nicollet Health Services today announced the completion of their agreement to combine their organizations. Effective today, the two organizations are officially joined under the name HealthPartners and a single, consumer-governed board of directors.
When classes started this fall at the St. Cloud Technical and Community College, medical students were introduced to a whole new building. The college bought the former HealthPartners facility and transformed it into a state-of-the-art classroom.
