Gopher Women’s Basketball Lose To Purdue

The Gopher women's basketball team lost 72-55 at home against #17 Purdue Thursday night. Katie Loberg led the Gophers with 18 points and Rachel Banham added 11 points and 10 rebounds for Minnesota. Brittany Rayburn had 38 points including 12 made 3-pointers for Purdue. The 12-made 3-pointers for Rayburn ties a NCAA record.

Gopher Women’s Basketball Beats Northwestern

The Gopher women's basketball team downed Northwestern 68-60 Thursday night. Minnesota led by 13 at halftime and shot 43 percent from the field for the game. Northwestern shot 38 percent. Rachel Banham led the Gophers with 26 points and 8 rebounds and Kiara Buford added 19 points for Minnesota.

The Gopher women's basketball team defeated Michigan 82-78 in double overtime Thursday night. Kiara Buford led the Gophers with 21 points and Brianna Mastey added 19 points. Mastey is a Becker native. Minnesota shot 47 percent while Michigan shot 39 percent.
