Supporters of a marriage amendment on Minnesota's November ballot aren't too happy with the Target Corp. The Minneapolis retail chain is selling "Pride" T-shirts on its website to raise funds for a marriage equality group.
Poll after poll shows public support for same-sex marriage steadily increasing, to the point where it's now a majority viewpoint. Yet in all 32 states where gay marriage has been on the ballot, voters have rejected it.
With a flurry of coast-to-coast developments this week, same-sex marriage is back in the political spotlight and likely to remain there through Election Day as a half-dozen states face potentially wrenching votes on the issue.
