He walked 6 and threw 123 pitches. Liriano struckout 2 and gets the win to improve to 2-4. Danny Valencia took a hit away from Carlos Quentin in the 7th inning and a back handed play behind the 3rd base bag to preserve the no-hitter.

Newcomer Jim Hoey threw 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief before Matt Capps allowed 1 earned run in the 9th inning to grab his 2nd save.
