The Sauk and Mississippi Rivers in St. Cloud are starting to rise. However, both are still well below flood stage. The National Weather Service's Hydrologic Prediction Service says both rose slightly over the weekend, but both are still about two-feet below action stage.

With warmer temperatures in the forecast, local emergency management officials are ramping-up their preparation for the potential flooding. Benton County Emergency Management Director Jim McDermott says they'll start taking regular measurements of the Mississippi River this week.
