A Minnesota Marine who was killed in Afghanistan last week will be laid to rest, and his community has set up a patriotic memorial in his honor. The streets of New Prague were lined Wednesday with 1,300 American flags.
Gov. Mark Dayton has ordered U.S. and Minnesota flags lowered to half-staff Friday to honor a Minnesota soldier killed in Iraq. Twenty-year-old Spc. Emilio Campo Jr. will be laid to rest in his hometown of Madelia. Dayton is scheduled to attend Campo's funeral.
