Tourism is big business in Minnesota. Explore Minnesota Tourism Executive Director John Edman says the industry brings in nearly $12 billion in gross sales every year, and it creates almost 240,000 full-and-part-time jobs.

Report: Summer Tourism to be Up in Minnesota [POLL]

This weekend is the unofficial kick-off to the summer travel season, and Explore Minnesota Tourism expect it to be a good season for tourism-related businesses. Their summer travel forecast is for continued moderate growth for lodging and camping businesses. Travel spending is also suppose to be up.
