earth day half marathon

60 degrees and sunny with a slight breeze made for great running conditions this (Saturday) morning. The Earth Day Run weekend continued today (Saturday) with the Scheels Half Marathon. Nearly 1,400 people came out to run in the marathon.

Despite the cold temperatures, over 2,000 runners ran in the annual Earth Day Half-Marathon, Half-Marathon Relay, and 20-Mile Eco Challenge on Saturday.
