Downtown Art Crawl

More than 30 area venues took part in the biggest art crawl of the summer. The third Downtown Art Crawl of the year was held Friday night in St. Cloud.

There is lots to see and do this weekend in Central Minnesota you and your family will enjoy. You can check out the Argentina group Che Malambo at St. John's University, a musical comedy about a Spelling Bee at Pioneer Place, enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt at Grace United Methodist Church, and see arts and crafts at the St. Cloud Jaycees Craft show and the St. Cloud downtown Art Crawl. After 12 years running the popular downtown Art Crawl, the two founders are stepping down.

Creative minds will be filling the streets of Downtown St. Cloud at this season's Art Crawl. The event featuring multiple vendors, street artists, demo artists, performers and musicians kicks off at 3:00 p.m. Friday.

This weekend offers entertainment in a variety of forms -- from the gut-busting comedy of Jim Gaffigan to Don Shelby transforming himself into the legendary Mark Twain, the last Art Crawl of the year comes to downtown while the Fabulous Armadillos show off their brand new show, and the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet visits town. All this and more in The Weekender!

Friday will be the last chance to stroll down the street and enjoy the work of local artisans before winter hits.
