About 2,700 party activists will meet at the Mayo Civic Center on Saturday to endorse U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar for a second term and pick delegates to the Democratic National Convention.
May 25, 2011 Three Democratic lawmakers made a stop in St. Cloud today to talk about the end of the Legislative session and a special session that will be needed to approve a new state budget. Representative Larry Hosch of St. Joseph and Representative John Ward of Brainerd were joined by Assistant Senate Minority Leader Terri Bonoff of Minnetonka.

March 24, 2011 Democrats who represent Minnesota's Iron Range in the Legislature are ripping Republican plans to shift money out of an economic development trust fund fueled by a production tax on mining companies. A House GOP jobs and economic development budget bill would shift $60 million from the Douglas J. Johnson Trust Fund. A Senate proposal proposes a $45 million shift.
