It's officially fall, and the annual Collegeville Orchards fall festival is back, but it just wouldn't be fall at the orchard without the pumpkin's, apples, and wagon rides.
Picking apples and pumpkins is an Autumn tradition in Minnesota and Collegeville Orchards near St. John's University features fun activities for the whole family.
You shouldn't have too much trouble finding pumpkins this fall. Central Minnesota's pumpkin harvest appears to have weathered the hot and dry summer pretty well.
For the most part, Minnesota's apple crop is looking good. However, there are some orchards in Central Minnesota that were affected by hail this summer.
