Wild Sign Stoner to 2-Year Contract

The Minnesota Wild signed defenseman Clayton Stoner to a 2-year contract extension worth $2.1 Million. The 27-year old had 1 goal and 4 assists in 51 games with the Wild in 2011-2012. Stoner was a 3rd round pick by the Wild in 2004.

The Minnesota Wild won 2-1 at New Jersey Tuesday night. Cal Clutterbuck and Clayton Stoner each scored a goal. Stoner's goal was the game-winner in the 3rd period and is his first career goal. Jose Theodore had 21 saves for Minnesota.
