Cold Spring is expected to take another step towards hiring a new city administrator on Tuesday night. Acting city administrator Kris Dockendorf says the city council will look to approve an updated job description for the position.

Around 400 people are expected at the Rivers Edge Convention Center on Thursday for the 2015 St. Cloud Innovation Summit. Sonja Gidlow is the director of communications with the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation, she says the summit is a great way for companies to share their innovations with the community.

St. Joseph will consider using study funds towards a pedestrian crossing along County Road 75 during their city council meeting on Monday night. The purpose of the study is to look at alternatives to improve safe pedestrian crossing of the county road between 2nd Avenue Northwest and 20th Avenue Southeast in town.

An open forum is being held for St. Cloud community members to ask questions and get more information on the upcoming St. Cloud school district bond referendum. The first of several forums will take place on Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A Motley woman is hurt after a single vehicle rollover in Todd County on Thursday. The incident happened just after 11:00 a.m. on County Road 28, near 331st Avenue in Villard Township.

A pair of St. Cloud hip-hop artists have created a powerful music video to raise awareness about the growing problem of bullying. The hip hop group Cloud City Boyz and singer Janey Neal created the song for bullying awareness month in October. Students from South Junior High in St. Cloud sing the chorus in the song as well as participate in the music video.

Instead of the typical 65 precincts, there will be 13 for the upcoming November 3rd $167 million referendum for the St. Cloud area school district. The change is due to the school district deciding to use larger precincts for the referendum vote, resulting in fewer polling places.

The Albany economy may take a negative hit with the announcement that their area hospital will be closing at the end of the year. City administrator Tom Schneider says the decision to close the hospital will likely cut some jobs in town. The hospital had an average amount of just one patient and four emergency department visits per day.

Conditons are expected to be perfect for Central Minnesota stargazers on Sunday night to watch a supermoon and total lunar eclipse at the same time. A supermoon is when a full moon is closest to Earth. Although still 222,000 miles away, this full moon will look slightly bigger than usual.
