Sauk Rapids-Rice to Cut $757,000 From Budget

The Sauk Rapids-Rice school district is expected to reduce its 2012 budget by about $760,000 dollars when the school board meets tonight. Superintendent Dan Bittman says the cuts are necessary because of a failed levy referendum.

Prayer Vigil For The Disadvantaged In Downtown St. Cloud

A prayer vigil will be held on the steps of the Cathedral of St. Mary Church in downtown St. Cloud tomorrow (Wednesday) night. The interfaith prayer vigil is intended to draw support for the disadvantaged, as state lawmakers consider budget cuts to some of those programs.
