Sauk Rapids Council Gives Official ‘Disapproval’ of Mayor Gunderson

The Sauk Rapids City Council has officially declared their disapproval of Mayor Brad Gunderson, relating to his arrest on a suspicion of drunk driving. At the last city council meeting, the council directed city staff to draft the resolution, which was read at tonight's (Monday) meeting.

UPDATE: Sauk Rapids Mayor Arrested on Suspicion of DWI

The new mayor of the central Minnesota city of Sauk Rapids is facing a drunken driving charge. Police Chief Perry Beise says Mayor Brad Gunderson was arrested on Sunday afternoon after crashing the vehicle he was driving and failing a preliminary breath test.
