October 31, 2011 Three people were hurt in a two vehicle crash near Foley Sunday morning. Benton County Sheriff Brad Bennett says 71-year-old Geraldine Cohen of Burnsville was headed south on County Road 66 when she came to a stop. Cohen then allegedly proceeded to cross County Road 4 and struck the passenger side of a westbound car.

April 19, 2011 The clock is ticking on a joint agreement between Benton County and the City of Foley that provides police services to the city. The Foley City Council will discuss the issue at their meeting tonight (Tuesday). Interim City Administrator Sarah Brunn says they're considering a combination option using the Sheriff's Department and also using a security company.
