SCSU Hockey to Play This Weekend Without Hanowski
The St. Cloud State men's hockey team will play without one of their top players Ben Hanowski this week against 6th ranked North Dakota. Hanowski took a hard hit against Minnesota State-Mankato on October 27. Hanowski's injury has not been disclosed and he was re-evaluated this week. Head coach Bob Motzko wouldn't disclose the injury but it's suspected to be head related.

The 18th ranked St. Cloud State men's hockey team will play at #3 Denver at 8:37 (CT) Friday night and 8:07pm (CT) on Saturday. The Huskies are 4-2-0 on the season and have won 4 games in a row. The Huskies will have to play without forward Ben Hanowski who's out with an undisclosed injury after taking a major hit last weekend against Minnesota State-Mankato.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team opened the WCHA schedule with a 5-1 win over Minnesota State-Mankato Friday night. Ben Hanowski scored the first 2 goals of the game for the Huskies in their 3-goal 1st period. Drew LeBlanc finished with 1 goal and 3 assists for the Huskies. Nic Dowd and Kalle Kossila each scored a goal as well for the Huskies.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team will host the University of Alabama-Huntsville Friday and Saturday nights at the National Hockey Center in their home openers. The Huskies are 0-2 after dropping a pair of games at New Hampshire last weekend. Sophomore Ryan Faragher is the top goaltender this season with Mike Lee graduating. The Huskies return Drew LeBlanc, and Ben Hanowski amongst others.
SCSU Men’s Hockey Falls at New Hampshire
The St. Cloud State men's hockey team began the season with a 5-3 loss at New Hampshire Friday night. Andrew Prochno, Ben Hanowski and Tim Daly each scored a goal for the Huskies. Ryan Faragher had 34 saves for SCSU. The Huskies tied the game at 2 in the 2nd period before New Hampshire scored 3 straight goals.
SCSU Hockey Falls In WCHA Final Five
The St. Cloud State men's hockey team lost 4-1 to North Dakota in the WCHA Final Five at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul Thursday night. Ben Hanowski scored the lone SCSU goal in the 1st period to tie the game at 1 before North Dakota got the game-winner from Brock Nelson in the 2nd period. Mike Lee had 24 saves in net for the Huskies.
