U of M Readies for Beer Sales at Stadium

Fans will be able to drink beer and wine at Minnesota's first home football game of the year at TCF Bank Stadium this weekend. Saturday's Gophers game against New Hampshire will mark the first time alcohol will be sold at an athletic event on the University of Minnesota campus.

TCF Stadium May Soon See Beer Sales

A measure that could satisfy some fans' thirst for beer at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium is halfway to Gov. Mark Dayton. The Senate voted 55-3 for a liquor law change Friday. The House is likely to vote soon on the liquor bill.

Dayton Signs Bill To Allow Beer Sales At Breweries

Gov. Mark Dayton has signed a bill making changes to state liquor laws that will allow Minnesota breweries to sell pints of beer on-site. The omnibus liquor bill that Dayton signed Tuesday includes a provision sought by Surly Brewing Company, based in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center.
