Not forgetting their roots, A&W uses National Root Beer Float Day to collect donations for the DAV organization (Disabled American Veterans).

A new A&W restaurant is opening in Richmond on Monday. Julie Glenz, the co-owner of the A&W in Albany, previously said that her family used to live in Richmond and was looking forward to the new location.

Sartell A&W was handing out free root beer floats today as part of National Root beer Float Day. They were also raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

An A&W restaurant is coming to Richmond later this year. Julie Glenz is co-owner of the A&W in Albany and says they are breaking ground on the new location Friday. Glenz says they will hire around 20 people at the restaurant. The building is expected to seat around 60 people.

The Sartell A&W offered free root beer floats on Wednesday afternoon while raising money to support veterans.
