The Timberwolves lost 113-107 at Denver Wednesday night and lost forward Kevin Love in the process. Love was elbowed in the head by Denver center Javale McGee and was briefly knocked out. He lay motionless for a moment before being helped off the court in the first quarter. He did not return and was kept overnight at a Denver area hospital for precautionary reasons. Love was diagnosed with a mild concussion and strained neck.

The Timberwolves lost 111-103 at Oklahoma City Friday night. Minnesota trailed 64-53 at halftime. Anthony Randolph led the Wolves with 24 points and 15 rebounds and Michael Beasley added 20 points and 8 rebounds. Kevin Durant scored 23 points for the Thunder. The Wolves fall to 17-56 and will host Boston Sunday at 6pm, pregame on WJON at 5:30.

The Timberwolves reportedly acquired 6'11 225 pound power forward Anthony Randolph and 7'0 295 pound center Eddy Curry from the New York Knicks in exchange for small forward Corey Brewer. Randolph is averaging 2.1 points and 2.4 rebounds a game for the Knicks this season and Curry hasn't played all year and is considered just an expiring contract. Randolph played 2 seasons at Golden State prior to going to New York.
