Police say two people survived when their single-engine homebuilt airplane crash-landed at the Hutchinson Municipal Airport in central Minnesota. Police and ambulance were called to Butler Field around 3:45 p.m. Thursday and found the damaged airplane with two occupants out of the plane.

The Federal Aviation Administration says a small plane has crashed near Milaca, killing both people on board. The plane is registered to TeeMark Corp. in Aitkin and was headed for Texas.
