Klobuchar, Franken Sign Legislation to Keep St. Cloud Control Tower Open

Minnesota's two U.S. Senators signed on to legislation today (Tuesday) that would keep the air traffic control tower open in St. Cloud. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken joined 16 other senators for the bipartisan "Protect Our Skies Act".

FAA Officially Closes St. Cloud Air Traffic Control Tower

The St. Cloud Regional Airport got the official word today (Friday) from the Federal Aviation Administration.
The air traffic control tower will be closing, due to the federal sequestration.
