2-Cent Tuesday

Today on WJON's 2-Cent Tuesday I asked listeners to tell me why they live in St. Cloud. I wanted to know if listeners have a sense of pride in their community and feel as though St. Cloud or the St. Cloud area has someone good to offer.

The conversations in regards to immigrants/refugees continued on WJON today. Callers voiced a variety of opinions about workplace requirements, school policies and one caller went after my beliefs.

Today on WJON's 2-cent Tuesday listeners commented on the St. Cloud Aquatic and Community Center, the proposed Aquatic centers in Sartell and St. Joseph, the violence and demonstrations in Baltimore and more.

This week on 2-Cent Tuesday listeners expressed concerns over possible terrorism in this community because of the recent arrests of Somali immigrants in Minneapolis.

Today on WJON's 2-Cent Tuesday I heard from concerned listeners who wanted to talk about the open forum that took place at Tech High School Monday night.

Today on WJON's 2-Cent Tuesday listeners voiced their opinions about our Somali immigrants/refugees who have relocated to St. Cloud. Listeners cited their experiences and what makes them feel they way they feel.

If you missed 2-Cent Tuesday today you missed a conversation about the Somali protests at Tech High School last week, how listeners feel about diversity and cultural differences in this community and some people's experiences with diversity in this community.

Today during 2-Cent Tuesday listeners wanted to weigh in on the potential Aquatics and Community Center. Most listeners wanted to see an indoor water park similar to what exists in Monticello and Becker.

This week on 2-Cent Tuesday we talked about the Sartell Community Center, improvements to Sartell-St. Stephen schools, multiple garbage haulers in Sartell, lowering the drinking age, and Governor Dayton giving Commissioners raises.

Today on "2-Cent Tuesday" I took calls from listeners who wanted to talk about the Aquatics Center blue print plan. Listeners didn't seem interested in new plan citing problems with 3 basketball courts, no water park, no outdoor aquatic facility in the immediate future and more.
