Swanville Man Convicted of Molesting Young Girl

LITTLE FALLS -- A Morrison County jury has found a Swanville man guilty of first degree criminal sexual conduct involving a young girl.

The jury deliberated for less than five hours in returning a guilty verdict against 34-year-old Jason Kirk. He was found guilty of sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl in January 2013.

A first degree criminal sexual conduct charge carries a mandatory minimum 12 years in prison.

Kirk was immediately taken to jail and will be formally sentenced September 10th.
