ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud Police are looking for more information regarding some suspicious activity near Madison Elementary School Friday afternoon.

Police say a 9-year-old girl, was walking home from school near the intersection of 33rd Avenue North and 10th Street North at about 2:30 p.m. when she was approached by a vehicle.

The driver asked if she wanted some candy and if she would like a ride. The girl quickly ran to her friends which is when the vehicle drove off.

The girl and a witness describe the driver as an adult male with a Mohawk style hair cut. The vehicle is believed to be an older car that was loud, rusty and may have been grey in color. There was also believe to be another adult male in the car.

Officers checked the area, but could not find the car.

Police say it is unknown the intent of the driver, but believe it to be an isolated incident.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the St. Cloud police department or Tri-County Crime Stoppers.
