Suspicious Death Investigated in Oak Park Heights

OAK PARK HEIGHTS (AP) - Police are investigating a suspicious death in the eastern Minnesota city of Oak Park Heights.

Officers went to a town house on Sunday to check on someone who family members had not been able to reach. Police did not find the person in the apartment and began a missing person investigation.

Early on Tuesday morning, police returned to the apartment and found the person's body.

The body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's officer for an autopsy and formal identification. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Washington County sheriff's office are helping the Oak Park Heights Police Department in the investigation.
