WYOMING (AP) — A tip from the public has led to the arrest of a suspect in the hit-and-run death of an Army veteran in Hinckley last week.

The crash took the life of 24-year-old Trevor Langlois, of Wyoming, Minn. He developed truck problems and pulled over on an entrance ramp to I-35 in Hinckley June 17 when a vehicle hit him and the driver fled.

The State Patrol says troopers arrested the 31-year-old suspect, who's also from Wyoming, Minn., without incident at his parents' residence in Wyoming Wednesday morning. A truck registered to the suspect was impounded as evidence.

The suspect was being held in Pine County on suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide and hit-and-run.

The Bloomington Police Department received the tip Monday night and forwarded it to the State Patrol.
