Suspect Arrested for Early Morning Hit-and-Run
ST. CLOUD -- A man was hurt in a hit-and-run early Thursday morning.
The St. Cloud Police Department says the incident happened shortly after 3:45 a.m. at the intersection of 33rd Ave S and 2nd St. S.
Fifty-three-year-old Bobby Hampton of St. Cloud was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 18-year-old William Barragan of St. Cloud.
Hampton refused medical attention at the scene.
Barragan fled but was later found at 725 32nd Ave N and taken into custody without incident. He faces charges of hit and run, underage consumption, and driving without insurance.
