MINNEAPOLIS -- The red-hot Minnesota Twins couldn't get the bats going against Houston Astros starter Mike Fiers, losing by a score of 4-1 on Saturday night.

Fiers, who pitched a no-hitter for the Astros earlier this week, allowed only three hits and one run through his six innings.

Twins starter Mike Pelfrey on the other hand, couldn't make it four innings, allowing seven hits and four runs to drop his season record to 6-8.

Brian Dozier and Joe Mauer each had two hits for Minnesota, but the rest of the lineup couldn't pick it up in the 4-1 loss.

The Twins (66-63) will send the struggling Ervin Santana (2-4) to the mound today for the rubber match against Lance McCullers (5-4) at 1:10 p.m.
