ST. CLOUD – Supporters of gay marriage will hold two events in St. Cloud tomorrow (Friday).

A march through St. Cloud will start at 12:30 p.m. at St. Cloud State University’s Barden Park.

Then, a Rally for Marriage Equality will start at 7:00 p.m. at the Waite Park Pavilion.  Rally speakers include former gubernatorial candidate Matt Entenza, the father of a gay son who was killed in Afghanistan, the son of a lesbian couple from Iowa, and St. Cloud Tech High School teacher David Schorn.

This is the 2nd annual march and rally in the St. Cloud area.

In November of 2012 voters in Minnesota will be voting on a constitutional amendment which, if passed, would write the ban on same-sex marriage into the state’s constitution.
