THE ANGEL OF HOPE STATUE STORY

The original Angel of Hope statue, inspired by the book The Christmas Box, was dedicated in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 6th, 1994.  Since the placement of this first statue, it has become known as a place of hope and healing for people who have suffered the loss of a child.

The city of Sartell is getting their own "Angel of Hope" for all of Central Minnesota, and will be holding their own candlelight vigil on December 6th, at 7 pm. Individuals can purchase pavers to be placed around the base of the Angel of Hope in memory of their loved one. People will also be able to purchase trees, benches and swings that can be purchased and placed around the lake and walking paths. These items will all have a plaque that will include who it is in memory of.
