Students To Hold Benefit Garage Sale For Roosevelt Education Center

ST. CLOUD -- Students from the Secondary Extended School Year program will be holding a garage sale benefit for the Roosevelt Education Center Thursday

Students in grades six through 12 have been busy planning and organizing the two-day garage sale that will be held at the St. Cloud Apollo High School commons. The event goes from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and all day on Friday.

Items for sale include clothes, electronics, game systems, movies, DVDs, dining room tables, bar stools and more. The items are donation only and will not be marked with a price tag.

Megan Pederson is one of the garage sale coordinators. She says even though Roosevelt was covered by insurance. Organizers are looking for more volunteers to help fill two to three hour shifts at the garage sale.
