ST. CLOUD -- College seniors in the St. Cloud metro area are wrapping up their last finals and gearing up for graduation. Below are details on each college or university commencement ceremony in the St. Cloud metro area.

Rasmussen College will be having their commencement ceremony Tuesday, May 2nd at the Paramount Theatre in St. Cloud at 6:30 p.m. 426 students are expected to graduate this spring.

At St. Cloud State University just under 1,600 students will be graduating this spring, of those who are graduating about 1,200 students are expected to walk in the commencement ceremonies.

For St. Cloud State two ceremonies will be on Friday, May 5th at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

The first ceremony at 10:30 a.m. will include graduates of the Herberger Business School, School of Health and Human Services and University College and School of Public Affairs. The student speaker will be Angela Mundis, a summa cum laude graduate from St. Cloud. Mundis is graduating with a bachelor's degree in geography.

The second ceremony at 3:00 p.m. will include graduates of the School of Education, College of Liberal Arts, School of Arts, College of Science and Engineering, School of Computing, Engineering and Environment. Emma Konopasek will be giving the student address. Konopasek is graduating with a bachelor's degree in spanish, she's from De Pere, Wisconsin.

There is no cost for admission to either ceremony, parking will be free in all campus lots and the 4th Avenue Parking Ramp. The St. Cloud Metro Bus Shuttle will be free to use as well.

St. Cloud Technical and Community College will have their commencement ceremony, Friday, May 12th at River's Edge Convention Center in Terry Haws Hall. The event will begin at 2:00 p.m. Around 450 graduates are expected to walk in the ceremony. For spring and summer around 800 students are expected to graduate from SCTCC.

A free bus shuttle from the SCTCC campus to River's Edge will be available. Shuttles will begin running at 11:30 a.m. from doors 4 and 5 on campus. Parking will be free on campus. Admission is free. Parking is also available in downtown St. Cloud.

477 women will be graduating from the College of St. Benedict. St. Ben's commencement ceremony will be Saturday, May 13th in the Clemens Field House at 2:00 p.m.

1997 St. Ben's graduate, Corie Barry will be giving the commencement address. Barry is the Chief Financial Officer and an Executive Vice President at Best Buy. Elizabeth Erickson is an accounting major, the Oakdale native was chosen by her class as this year's student commencement speaker.

St. John's University will be hosting its commencement ceremony a day after St. Ben's. 449 men will be graduating this year from St. John's. The event will be held Sunday, May 14th at 2:00 p.m. in the St. John's Abbey and University Church.

St. John's University board member and President of the Whalen Family Foundation, Dan Whalen will be giving the commencement address. Whalen is a 1970 St. John's graduate. Selected by the graduating class, theology major, Ramond Mitchell will be the student speaker. Mitchell is from Nassau, Bahamas.
