Students Celebrate SCSU With A Weekend Full Of Festivities

ST. CLOUD - Celebrate St. Cloud State University weekend started yesterday (Thursday) morning with a pep rally to begin the festivities.

Formerly known as Homecoming weekend, Celebrate SCSU has many events scheduled throughout the four day celebration including a Farris Wheel.

Participants can register Friday morning for Family Weekend, with a Husky volleyball game against Minnesota State University, Mankato to follow.

Saturday's events include a Family Weekend Carnival from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Husky Spirit 5k and kids 1k at 10:00 a.m., the National Hockey and Events Center open house at 2:00 p.m., and a Husky football game against the University of Minnesota- Duluth at 6:00 p.m.

Celebrations continue through Sunday concluding with a film showing of Brave in the Atwood Theatre at 8:00 p.m.
