MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A University of Minnesota student says a man who sexually assaulted her claimed to be a police officer.

Authorities say the woman was walking near campus about 2 a.m. Sunday when a man in a black SUV slowed down to talk to her. The woman says the man was wearing a dark jacket and badge and warned her against walking alone.

The man offered her a ride and when she got in the vehicle he locked the doors, drove to a remote location and sexually assaulted her.
