STRIDE Academy A Popular Option for Students [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - Yesterday (Wednesday) we told you about a national report on the growing popularity of Public Charter Schools.  The Executive Director of STRIDE Academy here in St. Cloud says that's the case for them as well.

Dale Beutel says, in the seven years that they've been around, they've grown from 165 students to 410 students.

STRIDE Academy now has two buildings, the original elementary school near the Whitney Senior Center and the new middle school in south St. Cloud.

Beutel says they have classes for grades K through 8, and are considering adding high school classes in the future.
