The Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres visit Sports Arena East Tuesday night to take on the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm in a Section 6A playoff showdown (7 PM, WJON).

The Sabres enter tonight's contest with a record of 12-12-1 overall and a 5-4-1 record away from home. Sartell-St. Stephen is the fifth seed in the section. S-SS finished the regular season 2-2-1 in their final five games.

The Sabres and Storm split a pair of games this season, with Sartell-St. Stephen picking up a 3-2 overtime win on December 3rd, then the Storm getting revenge with a 6-2 win at Bernick's Arena on January 16.

The Storm check in with a record of 17-8 overall and 9-4 record at Sports Arena East. SR-R finished 4-1 in their last five games and first year head coach John Kothenbeutel says his team is starting to buy in to the system.

Kothenbeutel says that emotions will be high when the Storm and Sabres meet tonight.
