Stephen L. Tenvoorde, 70, St. Cloud

March 24, 1947 - June 3, 2017

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Stephen L. Tenvoorde, 70 of St. Cloud who died Saturday at his home. Rev. LeRoy Scheierl will officiate and interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud and also one hour prior to services at the Church in St. Cloud on Wednesday morning.

Stephen was born in St. Cloud to Lloyd and Frances (Kiklas) Tenvoorde. He married Cheryl Bartosiewski on October 14, 1967 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Stephen served his country in the United States Army and the Minnesota National Guard. He began his career as a Sales Manager at Sears and later at American Linen. Stephen was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, the St. Cloud River Runners, St. Cloud Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #622 and the St. Cloud Rotary Club. He was a triathlete and ran many marathons, including the Boston Marathon. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, was an avid outdoorsman and loved to travel with his wife.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl of St. Cloud; children,Todd (Dawn) of St. Cloud, Joey (Dee) Ruegemer of Cold Spring; grandchildren, Devon, Tucker, Jaden and Autumn; Sisters, Jean (John) Munsinger of St. Cloud and Judy (Dennis) Raiche of Albert Lea. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Donald.
