ST. CLOUD -- There will be plenty of candy and fun games for kids at this year's Halloween Historia.

The event is put on by the Stearns History Museum. Steve Penick is an archivist at the museum. He says Halloween Historia has several, non-scary, activities for kids.

"We have hay rides face painting, crafts, we have a scavenger hunt. So there's plenty to do for several hours with kids running around. Of course, it can't be Halloween without candy so there are candy stations scattered around the museum."

Penick says the event is a great way to have fun with your kids or grandkids.

"It's a great event, we've been doing this for a long time, I bet we are close to 20 years now. It's a great event if you have the little people, grandkids."

Halloween Historia will be Saturday, October 28 at the Stearns History Museum from 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
