ST. CLOUD - The Stearns History Museum is participating in the eighth annual Museum Day Live (today) Saturday.

Museum Day Live is a nationally celebrated event where cultural institutions across the country open their doors to the public free of charge.

The public can explore the museum's Exhibit Gallery, Theater, Hands-on Children's Gallery, and Research Center from 10:00 a.m., to 5:00 p.m.

Participants must have a Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day Live admission ticket to access the event free of charge. The ticket is valid for up to two people. Tickets can be downloaded at smithsonian.com/museumday.

The Stearns History Museum the only nationally accredited history museum in outstate Minnesota.
