Stearns County Veterans Can Apply For Flood Assistance Grants

UNDATED - Veterans who were impacted by recent flooding may be eligible for a state grant.

Stearns County veterans, their families, and surviving spouses can apply for a grant up to $1,000 from the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs.

You can call the Stearns County Veteran Service Office in Waite Park at 320-656-6176 or Melrose at 320-256-1435 to apply.

Original receipts for expenses must be dated no earlier than June 11th, and no later than August 31st.

The deadline to apply is September 30th.
