Stearns County Road 1 Re-Opens

SARTELL -- Stearns County Road 1 between Heim's Mill and Wal-Mart has re-opened to traffic following a sewer main failure earlier this week.

Sartell city officials say the road has been repaired with a temporary patch material and is open for motorists. The section will need to be replaced later this spring when weather conditions allow for permanent asphalt to be installed.

The road was closed after a leaking sewer main was discovered and ultimately struck by an excavation crew Monday.
