Police Warn Of A Possible Home Improvement Scam

ST. CLOUD - Several homeowners in St. Cloud and Stearns County are possible victims of a home improvement scam that happened (yesterday) Tuesday.

The St. Cloud Police Department says some home owners in St. Cloud were approached by a contractor looking to repave their driveways.

The contractor allegedly did not provide proper contract information and is charging a very expensive amount of money for the work.

Residents are advised to choose their contractors carefully and obtain a detailed contract for work done.
