ST. CLOUD -- Two Stearns county parks will host a deer hunt for people with disabilities next month.

Rockville Park and Nature Preserve and Spring Hill County Park are hosting the hunts to provide outdoor recreational activities for disabled American veterans, individuals, and youth in Minnesota.

Each disabled hunter will be accompanied by an able-bodied person during the hunt and hunting will be limited to portable ground blinds.

The parks will be closed to the general public for the hunts.

People interested in the hunt can get an application at Midwest Outdoors Unlimited at 28791 325th Avenue in Melrose or by e-mailing them at midwestoutdoorsunlimited@yahoo.com.

Completed applications must be returned by Friday.
