Stearns County Looks for Volunteers

ST. CLOUD -- Stearns County is looking to fill a number of vacancies on its boards and committees for 2012.

The county has openings including Planning Commission, Feedlot Review Committee, Dairy Advisory Committee, Great River Regional Library Board, Human Services, Park Commission and several others.

County officials say public participation on these boards are vital to the county's success in the coming year.

If you'd like to volunteer you can apply on the county's website where there is a link set up for you on the homepage.

Applications can also be obtained by calling the County Administrator's Office. The phone number is 656-3601.

Applications will be taken until Monday, December 12th.
