UPDATE – Name of Dead Stearns County Inmate Released

ST. CLOUD -Police have released the name of the man who died in the Stearns County Jail.

Sheriff John Sanner says correctional officers responded to a medical emergency in the jail at about 8:30 a.m. this (Friday) morning.  22 year-old Jerome Harrell was taken by ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Police say

Harrell was being held in the jail on a Hennepin County arrest warrant when he died.

The incident remains under investigation.
