Stearns County Household Hazardous Waste Truck To Stop In Avon

AVON -- Stearns County’s Household hazardous Waste Truck is making its next stop in Avon tomorrow. It will be at the Avon Elementary School from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The truck will be collecting things like paints, cleaners, automotive chemicals, garden chemicals and fluorescent light bulbs. There is no charge for disposing of these items.

Some things that can’t be taken are used motor oil, tires, household garbage or furniture.

The truck will be visiting other Stearns County communities throughout the summer months.
