ST. CLOUD -In times of high gas prices, more people are looking for ways to have fun closer to home. This is the idea behind the “staycation” – a vacation right at home.

Stearns County wants to know how you’d spend a staycation, so they’re kicking off a photo contest.

Send in your photos, old and new, showing how you have fun in your own backyard.

Prizes include packages donated by area businesses. You have from now until August 31st to submit photos, just send them to the Stearns County website. The only requirement is that the photo must be taken in Stearns County.
