ST. CLOUD - Bell-bottoms, Watergate and a growing effort to protect the natural environment all shaped America in the 1970's.

The Stearns County History Museum will host the traveling Smithsonian exhibit Searching for the Seventies::the DOCUAMERICA photography project. The exhibit takes an in-depth look at the 70's through the lens of around 70 renowned photographers.

The project is divided into three parts named after popular songs of the decade including Ball of Confusion, Everybody Is a Star and Pave Paradise.

The DOCUMERICA exhibit will be at the museum from May 20th until July 15th.
